The DELTACO e-Charge EV-3215-S is a Type 2 to Type 2 spiral charging cable for electric vehicles. It uses Mode 3 charging protocols, suitable for most public and residential wallboxes. Both ends feature Type 2 connectors compatible with standard European charging infrastructure. The coiled design helps keep the cable off the ground during use, reducing dirt accumulation. It is compatible with Type 2-equipped models from Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

The cable features a black thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket, which remains flexible over time. This material resists motor oil and abrasive ground surfaces. It is also UV-resistant to prevent the exterior from becoming brittle after prolonged outdoor use. The design is intended for daily use in various environments and can withstand the mechanical stress of repeated plugging and unplugging without damaging the internal shielding.
