The QNAP TS-464-8G is a 4-bay tower NAS designed for small-to-medium businesses and home data management. It is powered by an Intel Celeron N5095 quad-core processor (up to 2.9 GHz) and includes 8 GB of DDR4 memory. This hardware handles tasks such as centralized file hosting, network backups, and folder sharing. Four drive bays support 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA III hard drives or solid-state drives. Two M.2 slots are provided for additional storage or caching. The system supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD for data redundancy or performance. RAID rebuild, migration, and expansion features allow for maintenance and capacity growth without system downtime.

Connectivity options include two RJ45 Ethernet ports capable of speeds up to 2.5 Gbit/s. For peripherals, the unit features two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.0 output. The system runs on the QNAP QTS 5.0.1 operating system and is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
