The JOBY Beamo Ring Light for MagSafe (White) is a portable light designed for mobile content creation. It attaches directly to the back of compatible iPhones using a magnetic mount, leaving the smartphone screen and camera lenses clear. The housing is constructed from a blend of aluminium, plastic, nylon, and silicone. It provides daylight-balanced light at a fixed 5600 K colour temperature for video and photography. With a luminous flux of 60 lumens, the lamp serves as a fill light for subjects positioned close to the lens.

In addition to the magnetic mount, the package includes an adapter to attach the unit to iPads, Android smartphones, and older mobile devices. A built-in mirror in the centre of the ring allows users to check their appearance before recording. Users can adjust the output by cycling through four brightness levels.
