The QNAP TS-855EU-RP-8G is an 8-bay 2U rackmount NAS for small to medium-sized businesses. It uses an 8-core Intel Atom C5125 processor clocked at 2.8 GHz. Eight bays accommodate 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drives. The system comes with 8 GB of DDR4 memory, which can be expanded to 64 GB via two SO-DIMM slots. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 for data redundancy.
The chassis includes two 300 W redundant power supplies to maintain uptime in the event of a failure. Three 60 mm fans provide cooling for the 2U frame.
