The Metabo HS 18 LTX BL 75 Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a battery-powered model intended for maintaining and shaping medium-sized or larger hedges. Its 700 mm effective cutting length and 21 mm maximum cutting thickness suit long hedge runs and established growth. The 750 mm diamond-ground dual cutting system operates at 3,400 strokes per minute, driven by a brushless motor. The blade arrangement cuts in both directions for controlled shaping and maintenance work.

With a battery fitted, the trimmer weighs 4.8 kg. A five-position rotating handle supports different hand and wrist positions when moving between horizontal and vertical hedge surfaces. Soft-grip areas and two-handed operation provide additional control, particularly across longer cutting passes. Metabo VibraTech is included to reduce transmitted vibration during extended use.
