The StarTech DACSFP10G3M 3m passive twinax DAC cable (SFP+ to SFP+) provides a point-to-point connection between network switches and routers. This direct-attach copper assembly uses twinaxial cabling to support physical infrastructure in data centres and server rooms. It operates on the 10GbE standard to handle demanding local network traffic. Featuring SFP+ interfaces at both ends, the link supports data transfer rates of up to 10,000 Mbit/s, offering a reliable, short-range alternative to optical transceivers.

Built to Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) specifications, the assembly integrates with standard enterprise hardware. The male connectors fit directly into equipment ports, removing the need for separate transceiver modules. This passive copper link is compatible with Dell EMC networking equipment. Because it contains no active signal processing hardware within the connectors, installation is straightforward. Its three-metre length is sufficient for top-of-rack or adjacent-rack connections.
