The ASUSTOR AS5404T 4-bay tower NAS provides centralized storage for managed networks. It uses an Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core processor with a base clock speed of 2 GHz and a 2.9 GHz boost. The four primary drive bays accommodate 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA hard drives and solid-state disks. Four internal M.2 NVMe slots allow for flash storage—used for caching or as high-speed volumes. Dual 2.5GbE RJ45 ports provide network connectivity up to 2500 Mbit/s. Users manage the hardware via the ADM 4.1 operating system, which supports various RAID configurations. The unit comes with 4 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM, which can be expanded to 16 GB.
