The ENDORFY Fortis 5 functions as a high-performance air cooling system intended for demanding processor loads, supporting up to 220 W Thermal Design Power (TDP). Heat transfer utilizes six 6 mm diameter copper heat pipes structured for direct contact with the CPU integrated heat spreader. These pipes rapidly conduct thermal energy away to the extensive aluminum fin stack. The asymmetrical heatsink design accommodates varied system configurations, ensuring adequate clearance for system memory modules.

The unit supports current mainstream sockets, including AMD AM5/AM4 and Intel LGA 1700/1200, alongside several legacy platforms. Standing 159 mm tall, the cooler's dimensions are compatible with many standard mid-tower enclosures. The installed 140 mm fan operates via Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control, allowing rotational speeds to adjust dynamically between 250 and 1400 RPM based on thermal requirements. This fan utilizes a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) technology, rated for a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 100,000 hours.
