The Fortis 5 Dual Fan CPU Cooler is engineered to manage thermal loads up to 220 W, making it suitable for current high-performance desktop processors. Heat transfer occurs via six integrated heat pipes leading into a dense aluminum fin stack. This air cooler utilizes a dual-fan configuration to maximize dissipation efficiency, employing a push/pull setup across the heatsink structure. The assembly uses a copper base plate to optimize thermal contact with the integrated heat spreader.

The cooling solution integrates two distinct fans—a 140 mm Fluctus fan and a 120 mm Fluctus fan—both utilizing Fluid Dynamic Bearings (FDB). Fan operation ranges from 250 RPM to 1400 RPM, controlled via a 4-pin PWM signal for dynamic thermal management. With a total height of 159 mm, the unit maintains compatibility with many mid-tower chassis designs. Mounting hardware is included to support a wide array of current Intel LGA and AMD AM sockets, including LGA 1700 and AM5.
