The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite is designed for urban commuting and short trips on paved surfaces. It travels up to 25 km on a single charge, covering standard daily distances. A 300 W brushless motor drives the rear wheel, delivering a maximum output of 390 W and a peak instantaneous power of 500 W. This allows the scooter to reach a top speed of 25 km/h and handle inclines of up to 15 percent. The system offers three power modes for adjusting performance to rider preference and terrain. Real-world range and speed vary with rider weight and riding conditions.

The scooter has a steel frame and weighs 16.2 kg including the battery, making it manageable to carry up stairs or lift into a vehicle. It has no front or rear suspension, relying instead on 10-inch pneumatic rubber tyres to absorb surface irregularities. Braking is handled by a front drum brake paired with a rear electric brake. A folding handle mechanism reduces the height to 530 mm for storage or transport. The steering column includes a built-in LED display showing speed and battery status, along with front and rear lights for visibility. Bluetooth connectivity pairs the scooter with the Xiaomi Home app on Android and iOS devices for tracking ride data. There is no seat on the deck, and the scooter is rated for riders aged 16 and older, between 1.2 m and 2 m tall, up to a maximum weight of 100 kg.
