Zyxel WAX300H - Wireless access point, White

The Zyxel WAX300H is a dual-radio access point for wall-plate installation in Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) environments. It operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with a combined wireless throughput of up to 3000 Mbit/s: 2400 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The device supports up to 128 concurrent connections, making it suitable for high-density areas such as hotels and offices. MU-MIMO technology allows the unit to communicate with multiple clients simultaneously, reducing latency during periods of heavy use.

The device features four Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports for connecting wired hardware at the wall plate. It is powered via PoE++ (Power over Ethernet), which allows both data and power to be delivered through a single network cable. Wireless traffic is protected by WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption. The access point can be managed via a web interface or through NebulaFlex Pro, which supports both standalone and cloud-managed operation. Further features, including guest access, tagged VLAN, and Quality of Service (QoS), provide control over traffic prioritisation and network segmentation.
