Makita DGA511RTJ 18 V Brushless Cordless Angle Grinder, 125 mm

The Makita 18 V Brushless Cordless Angle Grinder, 125 mm, is intended for grinding, cutting and surface preparation. Its 125 mm disc allows a maximum cutting depth of 29 mm. Electronic speed control provides a 3,000–8,500 rpm no-load range, allowing speed to be matched to the material and accessory. The brushless motor reduces routine maintenance. Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts speed and torque during operation.

The grinder weighs 3.83 kg with the supplied battery. Active Feedback Sensing Technology stops operation when it detects a rapid slowdown associated with kickback. Soft start controls initial motor engagement, while restart protection prevents unintended operation after a power interruption. A protective guard and auxiliary handle are supplied for control during cutting and grinding. The kit includes two removable 5.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries, a charger and a carrying case.
