The Danalock Universal Module connects powered doors and gates to a smart home network for automated access control. It allows for keyless entry by triggering devices such as garage doors or compatible electronic locks. The module uses Z-Wave and Bluetooth for both network-based automation and direct, local control. Users manage the system via a smartphone or tablet to operate access securely from outside the property. The accompanying app is available for Android and iOS.

Designed to integrate with the Danalock ecosystem, this hardware connects conventional electronic mechanisms to modern smart home standards. It requires a wired power source, which eliminates the need for battery replacements and ensures constant availability. Internal hardware safely isolates the control signal from the primary motor current. Its compact size allows installers to fit the unit inside existing motor housings. This provides a simple way to add electrical entry points to an automation network.
