The Einhell GC-EH 4550 Electric Hedge Trimmer is a corded 450 W tool for routine maintenance of garden hedges, shrubs and bushes. Its 500 mm cutting length is paired with 16 mm tooth spacing and a maximum branch capacity of 12 mm, making it suited to shaping established greenery and covering longer hedge sections in each pass. Double, counter-rotating blades operate at 3,200 strokes per minute for consistent cutting.

At 2.5 kg, the trimmer stays manageable during longer sessions and when working across vertical hedge faces. An ergonomic main handle combines a soft-grip surface with an additional handle for two-handed control. The steel cutters have laser-cut, diamond-ground edges designed to keep a precise cutting surface. A two-hand safety switch and large hand guard provide protection around the operating controls and blade area.

The housing is finished in black and red and uses a steel and plastic construction. An integrated cable restraint helps prevent strain where the mains lead connects to the tool during movement.
