The KÄRCHER BP 2 Cistern Submersible Pressure Pump is designed for garden irrigation using alternative water sources such as a cistern, well, or groundwater reservoir. The unit runs on a standard mains electricity supply and operates entirely below the water surface. Powered by an 800 W internal motor, the pump feeds water directly into residential irrigation systems. It delivers a maximum flow rate of 5,700 l/h with a delivery head of up to 32 metres, allowing it to push water across significant vertical distances and long horizontal pipe runs. Using harvested rainwater or groundwater with this pump reduces reliance on municipal drinking water supplies.

The external construction features a stainless steel housing that resists rust and corrosion during permanent outdoor installation. This durable casing protects the internal mechanics while the pump runs continuously underwater. Capable of operating at a maximum pressure of 3.2 bar, the unit maintains steady flow for standard sprinklers and garden hoses. The hardware supports submersion down to a maximum depth of 7 metres, suiting deep underground tanks. For plumbing integration, the pump uses a standard 1-inch connecting thread, and the included 3/4-inch and 1-inch threaded connections provide broad compatibility with existing garden infrastructure.
