The DEWALT DCH614N-XJ 54V XR FlexVolt SDS Max Brushless Hammer Drill (45 mm) is a cordless, battery-powered tool designed for drilling anchor and fixing holes and for light chiselling. It works on hard mineral materials such as concrete, brick, and masonry, with a maximum hammer-drilling diameter of 45 mm. Power is supplied by a 54V lithium-ion battery system and a maintenance-free brushless motor, producing up to 10.5 J of impact energy. Operators can switch between standard drilling, hammer drilling, and chiselling modes depending on the application. Under load, the mechanism reaches a maximum impact rate of 2,900 IPM for consistent material removal.

This hammer drill uses an SDS Max chuck for secure bit retention and quick, tool-free bit changes. To improve operator safety during high-torque work, an anti-rotation system cuts power if the tool suddenly loses control. Active vibration control hardware limits physical strain, giving a rated emission level of 8.8 m/s² when drilling into concrete. The black and yellow pistol-grip body measures 526 mm in depth and 251 mm in height. An adjustable side handle provides forward stability, and the supplied carrying case keeps the 6.8 kg unit protected in transit.
