The Bosch GHG 18V-50 Professional Cordless Hot Air Gun (Solo, L-BOXX) is an 18 V battery-powered tool designed for softening materials, drying surfaces, and heat-shrinking on site. Operating independently from a mains supply, it offers mobility for a range of general-purpose tasks. Its internal heating element reaches a maximum temperature of 500 °C, and a rapid start-up function brings the tool to an initial 300 °C in roughly six seconds, cutting idle time between jobs. Heat is delivered through a steady maximum airflow of 175 litres per minute, which keeps the temperature even across the workpiece.

Weighing 590 g, the gun is designed to limit user strain during longer or overhead jobs. The exterior uses the standard Bosch black and blue finish. An integrated LED light illuminates the work area, helping with visibility in dark or confined spaces. The tool runs on the Bosch Professional 18V System and is compatible with existing Bosch Professional 18 V batteries as well as AMPShare power sources. It is operated through a simple mechanical interface, as there is no built-in digital display. Its overall format is suited to quick deployment in field conditions where a mains socket is not available.
