The Bosch GDS 18V-450 HC Professional 18 V Cordless Impact Wrench, 1/2-inch drive, 2 x 4.0 Ah batteries and case is set up for demanding fastening and removal work. It runs on an 18 V cordless battery system, so it can be used away from a mains supply. The impact wrench delivers up to 450 N·m of tightening torque, making it suitable for heavy-duty threaded fasteners in vehicle maintenance, metalwork, industrial assembly and construction. Its main function is driving and loosening nuts and bolts with compatible sockets.

At the stated 1.6 kg weight, the pistol-shaped handle and soft grip are the main handling features. The square drive accepts compatible sockets rather than drill bits. Three gears and adjustable speed allow the output to be matched to the fastener and application. A built-in LED improves visibility around the work area when ambient light is limited. The removable battery packs use ProCORE18V lithium-ion technology, and a charger is supplied for the included pair.
