The TAURUS Inception Connect Smart Bathroom Scale (990559000) is a square body composition monitor for home use. The scale uses bioelectrical impedance analysis to measure weight and several physiological metrics, including body fat percentage and body mass index (BMI). It records measurements with 100 g precision. Beyond weight, the monitor calculates bone mass, body water percentage, visceral fat, basal metabolic rate (BMR), and active metabolic rate (AMR) to assist with nutritional and activity planning.

The scale features a 280 mm by 280 mm tempered glass platform with non-slip feet. The LCD shows immediate weight readings, while detailed composition data is sent via Bluetooth to the Taurus Connect app on a smartphone or tablet. This allows users to track progress without manual logging. The system supports up to 14 user profiles. It is powered by three AAA batteries, housed in a compartment on the underside.
