The Montech MKey TKL is a wired mechanical keyboard with an 85-key, tenkeyless layout. It features pre-lubricated Gateron G Pro 2.0 switches housed in a gasket-mounted structure, which is designed to provide a consistent typing feel across the board. The internal assembly includes silicone dampening material to modify the keyboard's acoustic output. Its keycaps are made from PBT plastic with an MDA profile and feature five-sided dye-sublimated legends for resistance to wear. The keyboard connects via a detachable 1.9 m USB Type-C cable.

This model is built for user modification, featuring hot-swappable sockets that permit the installation of compatible mechanical switches without requiring soldering. The keyboard includes per-key RGB backlighting with south-facing LEDs, which can be cycled through 18 different lighting effects. A multi-function rotary knob provides direct control over volume or other programmable functions. The case is equipped with feet that allow for three distinct tilt angles, and the electronics support 100% anti-ghosting to ensure all key presses are registered correctly during use.
