EKWB EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3070/3080/3090, Backplate, Nickel

The EKWB EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3070/3080/3090 Backplate – Nickel acts as a retention plate for the rear of specific graphics cards. Made from nickel-plated aluminium, it provides structural support and improves thermal conductivity. The plate keeps the cooling assembly secure and acts as a passive heatsink for components on the back of the card, drawing heat away from the voltage regulation module and the GPU core.

This backplate is compatible with ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090 graphics cards. It must be installed with a matching EK-Quantum Vector Strix water block. The plate reinforces the PCB to prevent bending under the weight of the cooling assembly. On RTX 3090 models, it also helps cool the rear-mounted VRAM. The nickel finish ensures a uniform appearance for the hardware assembly.
