The DELTACO e-Charge Mode 2 EV charging cable (Schuko to Type 1, 6 A, 5.5 m) connects an electric vehicle to a standard household socket. With a maximum current of 6 A, it provides an alternative for charging when a wallbox is unavailable. The 5.5-metre cable reaches across most garages and driveways. The power-supply end features a Schuko (CEE 7/7) plug for domestic European outlets, while the vehicle end uses a Type 1 connector, compatible with any vehicle featuring an IEC 62196 Type 1 inlet.

The cable is encased in a black TPU jacket that remains flexible during use. An in-line module contains LED indicators to show charging progress and status. A dust cover is attached to the Type 1 plug to protect the contacts when disconnected, making the unit easy to store in a boot or garage. As a standalone accessory, it requires no installation.
