HPE Aruba Networking AP-605HR (EU) - Hospitality Access Point

The HPE Aruba Networking AP-605HR is a Wi-Fi 6E hospitality access point designed for hotels and serviced apartments. It uses a tri-band system across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands to reach a maximum combined data rate of 3600 Mbit/s. This throughput is distributed as 2400 Mbit/s on the 6 GHz band, 1200 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band, and 287 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The device supports up to 512 simultaneous connections, meeting the requirements of high-density guest environments. The 6 GHz spectrum provides additional bandwidth and reduces signal congestion compared to traditional dual-band hardware.

For wired connectivity, the unit includes four Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports and a dedicated Ethernet WAN connection. It is powered via Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), allowing for data and power delivery through a single network cable. Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 and ZigBee support allow the unit to act as a hub for IoT sensors and location beacons. Security protocols include WPA3, WPA2, and Enhanced Open (OWE) for encrypted guest access. The access point features internal antennas and is designed for desktop placement or wall mounting. Administrators can manage the unit remotely via a web-based interface.
