The Thermalright Assassin X 120 Refined SE is a single-tower CPU cooling solution designed for efficient heat management in mid-range systems. This cooler uses four 6 mm copper heatpipes that interface directly with the CPU heat spreader to facilitate heat transfer. The pipes route heat into an array of aluminum fins, which are cooled by the included 120 mm fan. The base plate consists of C1100 pure copper, which is nickel-plated for structural integrity and corrosion resistance.

The unit features a 120 mm fan utilizing an S-FDB bearing designed for operational stability and durability. Fan speed is managed via Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM), allowing the rotational speed to scale dynamically up to 1550 RPM. This configuration achieves a maximum airflow of 66.17 CFM with a peak noise level of 25.6 dB. The cooler offers broad compatibility, supporting current Intel LGA 1700 and 1851 platforms, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets.
