The Phanteks NV5 MKII is a mid-tower chassis constructed with a steel frame and near-seamless tempered glass on its front and side panels. This design provides a comprehensive view of the internal hardware configuration from multiple angles. It features integrated Digital-RGB lighting along the power supply shroud and motherboard tray, which can be managed directly via dedicated buttons on the top I/O panel without requiring software. The fine mesh panels at the top, bottom, and side are engineered to facilitate air intake and exhaust for system components.

This case accommodates a wide range of motherboards, from Mini-ITX to E-ATX up to 280mm wide, and is designed for modern hardware including rear-connector motherboards like BTF and Project Zero. Its cooling architecture supports up to eight 120 mm fans, with radiator mounting options for 360 mm units on both the top and side panels. For storage, the chassis provides dedicated mounts for three 3.5-inch drives and four 2.5-inch drives. The seven expansion slots allow for standard horizontal installations or vertical GPU mounting to showcase the graphics card.
