The TP-Link Deco BE25 is a WiFi 7 mesh system providing dual-band connectivity across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. It supports a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 3570 Mbit/s, delivering up to 2882 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The system implements 802.11be standards, including Multi-Link Operation and 4K-QAM for efficient data transmission. It manages up to 150 connected devices using four internal antennas equipped with beamforming and MU-MIMO technology to optimize signal distribution.
Each unit features two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports for WAN and LAN connections. Security is maintained through WPA3-Personal encryption, an integrated firewall, and URL filtering. The system supports OpenVPN, PPTP, and L2TP protocols for VPN server and client functionality. Network management is handled via a web-based interface, providing tools for Quality of Service, guest access, and parental controls including time limits and web filtering.
