The MicroConnect MC-USBACNET1G USB-C/USB-A to RJ45 2.5G Ethernet adapter adds wired networking to laptops, computers, and tablets that lack a built-in port. The adapter connects devices to local area networks and supports data transfer rates of up to 2500 Mbit/s for high-bandwidth tasks. It features a native USB-C connector with an integrated USB-A adapter for compatibility with standard USB 3.0 ports, allowing for increased throughput when connected to multi-gigabit infrastructure.

An aluminium housing protects the internal hardware and helps dissipate heat during continuous operation. The adapter is bus-powered, meaning no external power supply is required. Three LED indicators show power status, link activity, and connection speed. An integrated RTL8153 chipset manages traffic to maintain stable performance. The adapter is compatible with Windows (XP to 10), macOS (10.5 or later), and Linux.
