The be quiet! LIGHT BASE 900 FX is a full-tower chassis constructed with tempered glass panels on the front and side, providing an unobstructed view of internal components. Its modular design allows for a flexible internal layout, including the option to invert the motherboard tray for alternative hardware configurations. This structure is intended for builders creating high-performance systems and accommodates a wide range of motherboard form factors, from Mini-ITX up to XL-ATX.

The thermal design is built around seven pre-installed 140 mm fans distributed across the front, side, and rear panels to facilitate high-volume airflow. For custom liquid cooling loops or AIOs, the chassis supports large radiators up to 420 mm at the top and bottom, 360 mm on the side, and 140 mm at the rear. An integrated hub provides centralized control for both PWM fan speed and ARGB illumination. Removable dust filters are included at key intake points to help maintain internal cleanliness.
