The Lian Li SUP01X is a mid-tower case constructed with a steel frame and a 4 mm tempered glass side panel. Its internal layout is designed to accommodate ATX motherboards with rear connections, a configuration that centralizes I/O at the back of the chassis for cleaner cable routing. This design necessitates vertical GPU mounting, and the case includes a 510mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable to facilitate this setup. The component orientation results in a maximum CPU cooler height of 88.2 mm, making it suitable for low-profile air coolers or all-in-one liquid cooling solutions.

For thermal management, the case comes equipped with three 120 mm PWM fans at the front and one 120 mm fan at the rear. Additional cooling can be installed, with support for up to three 120/140 mm fans on the side and top panels. Liquid cooling configurations can utilize a side-mounted radiator up to 360 mm. The front I/O panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and a combination audio jack. Storage options consist of a drive cage that holds two 3.5" HDDs and mounting points for two 2.5" SSDs.
