The Xiaomi Mesh System AC1200 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 networking solution designed for coverage up to 260 square meters. It utilizes the IEEE 802.11ac standard to provide wireless transfer rates of 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz frequency and 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz frequency. The internal antenna design works with intelligent mesh technology to maintain connection stability across a network supporting up to 64 simultaneous devices. Integrated beamforming technology identifies the location of connected hardware to direct signals effectively for improved link quality.

Connectivity includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports per unit for wired devices, supporting data transfer rates of 1000 Mbit/s. Security features include WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, and WPA3-SAE protocols alongside an integrated firewall and guest network access. Network administration is handled through a web-based management interface with support for DHCP, quality of service, and URL filtering. The plastic units are designed for desktop placement and measure 154 mm in height. Each package contains two units, an AC adapter, and a network cable for deployment.
