The TP-Link Tapo C530WS 3K 5MP outdoor Wi-Fi camera monitors exterior spaces around homes and businesses. It records video at a resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels, capturing 5-megapixel footage at 30 frames per second. A motorized base provides 340-degree panning and adjustable tilt to track moving subjects. For night vision, the camera uses integrated IR and white LEDs, maintaining visibility at distances of up to 29.9 metres. The device connects to a network via a wired Ethernet cable or a 2.4 GHz wireless signal and requires a standard AC/DC power supply.

Housed in a metal, IP66-rated casing, the camera is designed to withstand rain and dust. It operates in ambient temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 60 °C. The camera distinguishes between people, pets, and vehicles, sending alerts only for relevant events. Two-way audio is facilitated by a built-in microphone and speaker, and a 99 dB siren acts as an audible deterrent. Footage is saved locally to a microSD card of up to 512 GB, and the system is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control.
