The TP-Link Tapo C230 Pan/Tilt Wi‑Fi Camera is an indoor monitoring device that connects via a 2.4 GHz wireless network. It records at a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels at 30 frames per second. Integrated infrared technology activates automatically in low light, providing night vision at a range of up to 12 metres.

As this camera is not weatherproof, it is designed for indoor use and can be mounted on a ceiling or placed on a desk. It requires a continuous power supply and does not use internal batteries. A motorized base allows for 340 degrees of pan and 69 degrees of tilt. Onboard motion detection distinguishes between humans, vehicles, and pets, which helps filter out unnecessary alerts. The device includes a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
