The Fractal Design Meshify 3 is a mid-tower chassis constructed with a steel frame and a lightly tinted tempered glass side panel. Its design incorporates an angular mesh front panel engineered to facilitate high-volume air intake. The case comes equipped with three 140 mm front fans and one 120 mm rear fan to establish a direct airflow path across primary components. This configuration provides a foundation for system cooling, with a removable dust filter included to maintain internal cleanliness.

The internal layout supports a range of motherboard form factors, including E-ATX, ATX, micro ATX, and Mini-ITX. For cooling hardware, the chassis accommodates CPU air coolers up to 173 mm in height and provides mounting points for liquid cooling radiators as large as 360 mm in the front and 280 mm on top. Storage is handled by dedicated mounts for up to four 2.5-inch SSDs and a drive cage for two 3.5-inch HDDs. Provisions for cable management are integrated to assist with organizing internal wiring for an unobstructed airflow path.
