The Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro is an indoor and outdoor security camera designed for continuous property monitoring. This Wi-Fi-connected device uses a 1/1.8-inch optical sensor to record at a maximum resolution of 2688 x 1520 pixels. A 4.2 mm fixed focal length provides a 133-degree field of view, covering large areas from a single vantage point. In low-light conditions, the camera automatically switches to a day/night mode that uses both infrared and white LED illumination. An integrated light also activates to maintain visibility when ambient lighting is insufficient. As the camera operates wirelessly and does not support Power over Ethernet, it only requires access to a standard USB power supply for positioning.

The camera features a compact, cube-shaped design with an IP65 weatherproof rating for protection against rain and dust. It can be installed using standard ceiling or wall mounts. The system uses human and vehicle classification to filter movement, preventing unnecessary alerts caused by animals or shadows. A built-in microphone captures audio alongside the video feed. The camera integrates with existing smart home ecosystems and uses Bluetooth for initial setup. It natively supports remote live viewing and voice control via Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and the Matter protocol.
