The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max EU is designed for adult urban commuting and daily personal transport. It has a maximum range of 60 km on a single charge, which is enough for longer commutes without frequent recharging. A 400 W rated motor delivers up to 1000 W at peak, providing enough output for hill climbing and steady acceleration. The top speed is capped at 25 km/h, in line with common urban limits for this category. The scooter handles inclines of up to 22%, covering most urban road gradients. Performance is tuned for paved roads and uneven urban surfaces.

The carbon steel frame brings the weight to 22.3 kg, which makes it heavy to carry up stairs but stable on the road. Front and rear suspension absorb shocks from uneven surfaces. Braking is handled by a dual setup: a front drum brake and a rear electronic brake. Ten-inch tubeless tyres at both ends reduce the risk of punctures compared with tubed alternatives. A built-in display shows ride metrics, and Bluetooth connectivity allows pairing with a mobile device. The chassis has an IPX5 water-resistance rating, protecting the electronics against light rain and splashes. No seat is included, so riders must stand for the entire journey.
