The Mercusys MB230-4G AC1200 LTE Cat6 Wi-Fi Router is a desktop cellular gateway that provides internet access via mobile networks. It features a built-in 4G modem with a NanoSIM slot and supports both LTE-TDD and LTE-FDD standards. The dual-band router uses Wi-Fi 5 to deliver wireless speeds of up to 1200 Mbit/s, with the 2.4 GHz band providing 300 Mbit/s and the 5 GHz band providing 867 Mbit/s. It also supports 3G standards, such as HSPA+ and UMTS, for connectivity where 4G signals are unavailable.

Wired connectivity includes two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and one flexible WAN/LAN port. The router uses an internal antenna design, keeping the unit compact at 95 mm by 61.05 mm. Network security is managed via an integrated firewall and WPA3-SAE encryption. Additional features include DMZ support, port triggering, and a DHCP server for network configuration. An LED indicates the current status, and the firmware is upgradeable. The device is powered by a 12V, 1A DC input.
