It utilizes Kailh hot-swappable switch sockets, giving users the option to install either linear Red or tactile Blue switch variants to match their actuation and feedback preferences. The keyboard achieves a 1000 Hz polling rate for low-latency input registration. Full N-key rollover with anti-ghosting ensures that all simultaneous key presses are recorded accurately during fast-paced use.

The keyboard features per-key RGB backlighting with 16.8 million color options and 19 distinct lighting modes. Its keycaps are made from PBT material, which offers a textured finish and increased resistance to wear over time. Connectivity is handled through a detachable 1.8-meter USB-C cable, which simplifies transport and cable management. The TKL69G includes 23 programmable FN-key combinations for setting up shortcuts and is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS systems.
