This cordless circular saw is designed for DIY woodworking, decking, shelving, and home renovation projects. It cuts to a depth of 53 mm at 90° and 36 mm at 45°, allowing it to handle a range of timber and board sizes. Power comes from an 18 V / 2.5 Ah lithium-ion battery, providing cordless operation away from a mains supply. The BOSCH UniversalCirc 18V-53 Solo is rated for cutting wood and chipboard. Its depth capacity suits the dimensional lumber and sheet materials typically used in shelving and decking work.

The saw ships with a 160 mm Optiline Wood blade featuring 24 carbide-tipped teeth and a 20 mm bore. An aluminium base plate provides a stable platform during cuts, and bevel adjustment allows angled cuts up to 45°. The tool weighs 3.3 kg and measures 315 mm in overall length. A dust extraction port can be connected to a vacuum cleaner to reduce sawdust in the work area. This Solo version does not include a battery or charger, so a compatible Bosch 18 V POWER FOR ALL battery must be purchased separately. Bosch covers the tool with a 2-year warranty.
