The Mercusys Halo H27BE is a three-unit whole-home mesh Wi-Fi system designed to provide extensive wireless coverage using the Wi-Fi 7 standard (IEEE 802.11be). This dual-band setup delivers a maximum combined wireless data rate of 3600 Mbit/s across the network. The 5 GHz band reaches up to 2880 Mbit/s, while the 2.4 GHz band operates at up to 688 Mbit/s, providing substantial capacity for demanding applications. The three nodes collectively cover areas up to 650 square meters, ensuring consistent connectivity.

Each Halo unit features two Ethernet LAN ports for wired connections. These include one port supporting 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet speeds and one port supporting Gigabit Ethernet speeds (1000 Mbit/s), suitable for high-speed backhaul or local device linking. Internal antennas utilize Beamforming and MU-MIMO technologies to improve signal delivery and network efficiency, managing connections for up to 150 client devices simultaneously. Administration features include Quality of Service (QoS) and parental control options.

Network security is implemented via WPA3-SAE encryption and a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) Firewall. The system supports both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and offers standard network functions such as DHCP server and client roles, DMZ support, and dynamic DNS integration. Each unit is housed in a white enclosure, measuring 128 mm in width and 83.7 mm in height.
