The Keychron K2v3 is a mechanical keyboard designed with a compact 75% form factor and a Nordic ISO layout. It operates in both wired and wireless modes, connecting via a detachable USB-C cable or Bluetooth 5.2. For wired connections, it supports a 1000 Hz polling rate, suitable for gaming and other performance-sensitive tasks. The keyboard is equipped with Keychron Super Red mechanical switches, which are hot-swappable, allowing users to change switches without soldering. N-key rollover and anti-ghosting are supported to ensure all key presses are registered correctly during use.

This model features an aluminum frame for structural rigidity and is fitted with double-shot PBT keycaps in a Cherry profile for durability and a consistent feel. It is fully compatible with QMK firmware, enabling extensive customization of keymaps, macros, and function layers, which can be stored on its 256 KB of onboard memory. The RGB backlighting is adjustable on a per-key basis. The internal rechargeable battery provides up to 190 hours of operation and can be charged using the included USB-C cable. The keyboard supports multi-device pairing, allowing seamless switching between different computers or operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
