The be quiet! Pure Rock 3 Black is a single-tower CPU air cooler designed to provide thermal management for processors requiring up to 190 W of cooling capacity. The heat dissipation system utilizes four 6 mm copper heat pipes that efficiently transfer thermal energy away from the CPU’s integrated heat spreader. These pipes connect directly to a dense aluminum fin stack, maximizing the surface area available for cooling. The base plate material consists of solid copper to ensure optimal heat conduction from the processor.

Heat is removed by an integrated 120 mm fan featuring a reliable Rifle bearing, ensuring operational longevity with an MTTF rating of 80,000 hours. Fan speed is dynamically regulated using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control, allowing the fan to operate between 0 and 2000 RPM. This configuration maintains acoustic levels between 12.4 dB at minimum speed and 31.2 dB at maximum rotation. The cooler maintains a total installed height of 154 mm, offering broad compatibility with most mainstream PC chassis.

Installation is supported across multiple current processor sockets, including Intel LGA 1851 and 1700, as well as AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms.
