The QNAP TS-433 16TB NAS (4 x 4TB) is a four-bay desktop storage server designed for home and small office environments. The unit comes with a total capacity of 16TB, provided by four pre-installed 4TB hard drives. It is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor running at 2.0 GHz and includes 4GB of internal memory. Network connectivity is provided by two Ethernet ports capable of data transfer rates up to 2500 Mbit/s. This 2.5GbE capability offers higher bandwidth than standard Gigabit connections, enabling faster file transfers across compatible networks. The four 3.5-inch drive bays also support 2.5-inch SSDs.

Housed in a white tower chassis, the unit uses a 120 mm fan for active cooling. The four drive bays support hot-swapping, allowing for disk replacement or maintenance without shutting down the system. Integrated software provides snapshot functionality for data recovery and supports various cloud-based backup services. The system is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it suitable for multi-user environments. Security features include 256-bit AES encryption and HTTPS protocols to protect stored data. Power is supplied via an external 90 W adapter, with the unit drawing approximately 22.54 W during typical operation.
