The Philips TAB4000/10 is a 2.0 channel soundbar designed to deliver a direct audio upgrade for televisions. It operates without a separate subwoofer, using two integrated full-range drivers to produce 30W of total RMS power for a clear stereo soundstage. The primary connection is HDMI ARC, which supports 2-channel LPCM audio and allows for integrated system control with a compatible TV remote via EasyLink CEC. This configuration is intended to improve dialogue clarity and general audio output in small to medium-sized rooms.

For additional media playback, the unit is equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless audio streaming from compatible mobile devices. A USB port also enables direct playback of FLAC, MP3, and WAV files from an external drive. The included remote gives users access to pre-set equalizer modes such as Movie, Music, and Voice, which adjust the audio profile for different types of content. Measuring 760mm wide, the soundbar can be placed on a TV stand or installed on a wall using the included mounting kit.
