The Metabo HS 18 LTX 55 Cordless Hedge Trimmer Kit is a battery-powered tool for maintaining and shaping garden hedges and shrubs. Its 530 mm cutting length and 19 mm tooth spacing suit longer trimming passes, while the 19 mm maximum cutting thickness sets the branch size it can handle. Dual reciprocating blades do the cutting rather than a single moving blade. Drop-shaped teeth are designed to hold twigs in place during controlled cuts.

At 2,600 g including a battery, the trimmer stays manageable for routine garden work and use away from a mains socket. An ergonomic soft-grip handle supports a secure hold when changing direction or working along hedge faces. The safety switch is paired with a rapid safety brake, giving two separate controls around blade operation.
