SwitchBot Lock Pro EU Version - Smart door lock, Black

The SWITCHBOT Lock Pro EU Version Smart Retrofit Door Lock is a battery-powered smart access device for European homes with compatible Euro Profile cylinders. It mounts over an existing interior lock mechanism, retaining the original cylinder and exterior key hardware. This retrofit design allows physical keys to remain functional from the outside while enabling electronic control from the inside. Power comes from four AA alkaline batteries, providing an expected lifespan of up to nine months under typical use. The lock operates via Bluetooth, as the hardware lacks built-in Wi-Fi.

The enclosure uses an aluminium-magnesium alloy with PC and ABS plastics for a compact form factor. It is intended strictly for indoor-side installation on compatible doors, as the unit lacks weatherproofing or waterproofing. Setup is straightforward, with mounting brackets included to facilitate installation over existing hardware. While the base connection is Bluetooth-only, adding a SwitchBot hub enables integration with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, and SmartThings. Smartphone and tablet remote support allows users to monitor the lock status and control access through the SwitchBot app, with additional entry methods configurable via compatible external accessories.

• Automatic locking capability secures the door without manual intervention.
• Requires a compatible SwitchBot hub to enable Matter-based smart home integration.
• 435-gram weight minimises strain on the existing door mechanism.
• Indoor installation only due to the absence of an IP weatherproof rating.
• 1.5 V battery voltage standard ensures widely available replacement cells.
