The Sharkoon VS9 is an ATX midi tower case constructed with a minimalist metal front panel. Its internal layout is designed to accommodate standard ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, making it suitable for office workstations or media center builds. The chassis provides a conventional configuration for component installation, including a bottom-mounted ATX power supply unit bay and integrated cable management features.

For thermal management, the case offers multiple mounting locations for fans and liquid cooling radiators. The front panel supports up to three 120 mm fans or a 360 mm radiator, while the top can hold two 120 mm or 140 mm fans, or a radiator up to 280 mm. The interior also has dedicated drive bays for extensive storage, with space for both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives, supported by an HDD/SSD combo cage and multiple mounting points.

Component compatibility includes support for CPU coolers up to 158 mm in height and power supplies up to 210 mm in length. The front I/O panel provides access to two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 port, and a combination audio jack for microphones and headphones. The case is equipped with a dust filter to help maintain internal cleanliness, and it comes with one 120 mm fan pre-installed in the rear exhaust position.
