The MicroConnect MC-PCIEX8-X520-DA2 10GbE SFP+ network card provides high-bandwidth connectivity for desktop PCs and servers. Designed for a PCI Express x8 slot, this internal expansion card uses an integrated Intel 82599ES controller to manage high network traffic. It supports data transfer rates of up to 10,000 Mbit/s, making it suitable for server-to-server communication. This card is intended for wired networks and does not include Wi-Fi functionality.
Connectivity is provided by two SFP+ ports on the rear bracket. These ports accept both optical fibre transceivers and Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables to suit your infrastructure. The card is a dedicated Ethernet component and does not support Bluetooth. It is designed for straightforward integration into data centres and is often used for high-throughput storage arrays requiring stable wired connections.
