The MICROCONNECT MC-PCIEX8-X520-DA2-SFP+ is a dual-port 10GbE SFP+ PCIe x8 network card for servers and desktop workstations. It installs into a PCI Express Gen2 x8 slot for connection to fiber-optic or direct-attach copper networks. The card features two independent SFP+ ports, each supporting data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s. Powered by an Intel 82599ES chipset, it is designed for high-capacity Ethernet environments.
The card includes both low-profile and full-height brackets to fit various chassis sizes. It consumes approximately 10 W during standard operation and features integrated Link/Activity LEDs to indicate connection status. The adapter is compatible with major enterprise platforms, including Windows Server (2012–2022), VMware ESXi, and Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, RHEL, and CentOS.
