The Xiaomi Smart Camera C701 EU is an indoor security camera designed for monitoring living spaces. It features an 8 MP sensor, recording in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) for sharp detail. Built-in 940 nm infrared LEDs provide night vision up to 10 metres in low light. The camera connects via dual-band Wi-Fi, supporting standards up to Wi-Fi 6. Users can view the live feed and adjust the camera angle via smartphone.

This camera is for indoor use only and is not weather-resistant. The motorized mechanism enables 360-degree horizontal rotation and a 109-degree vertical tilt. On-board software recognizes and tracks humans, pets, and audio triggers, such as a baby crying. Two-way audio allows for communication with people in the room via the built-in microphone and speaker. The camera integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. An MJA1 chipset secures data transmissions, and a physical cover can hide the lens for privacy.
