Makita GD001GZ 40V XGT Cordless Straight Grinder (Body Only)

Makita 40V XGT Cordless Straight Grinder (Body Only) is a battery-powered straight grinder for metalworking, locksmithing, automotive repair, grinding and finishing. Designed for metal surfaces, its straight form is suited to targeted grinding and finishing rather than sheet sanding. The no-load speed is adjustable from 7,000 to 29,000 RPM, allowing the operating speed to be matched to the accessory, material and task. Speed can be preset before work begins. As a cordless 40V tool, it runs without a mains connection.

At 2.2 kg, the grinder has a soft-grip surface and an ergonomically shaped housing for controlled handling. XPT protection improves resistance to dust and water in harsh working conditions. A protective housing provides an additional barrier around the internal components. This body-only version is supplied without a battery or charger. It is compatible with Makita 40V XGT batteries and chargers, which are sold separately.
